Seven layers make up this intricate Layered Pumpkin Mandala cut file. It is the most intricate layered file I’ve created to date. Pack your patience with this one when it’s time to remove your project from the cutting mat.

The black and white pumpkin pictured above were cut and glued with just the top and bottom layers of the design. Feel free to experiment and use just some of the layers

MATERIALS TO MAKE LAYERED PUMPKIN MANDALA

  • 65 lb Cardstock – I used Recollections Brand Cardstock.
  • Foam tabs – These foam tabs from Tombow are my absolute favorite. They’re thick enough to provide a good dimension to each project. The description is a bit deceiving as it states 50 tabs. In fact, there are 464 in the package, 50 large and 414 small sizes.
  • Light grip mat (blue light grip)
  • Cricut Maker – or your favorite cutting machine.
  • Design #79 – Layered Pumpkin Mandala – My free SVG cut file (available in my freebie vault—get the password at the bottom of this post).

For a more detailed explanation of assembly, please refer to this Layered Mandala Post.

    What am I doing wrong

    1. I saved the design with black, orange, and white. You can change the color (both on-screen and for your materials) to what you’d like.

      1. I made this and it is gorgeous – more so in person than it is in a picture. I am wanting to make another one in different colors. Thank you so much!

  4. i can not download this in individual layers. It only comes up as the picture? aWhat am i doing wrong?

    1. Hi Dana,

For the layered designs, since they’re saved with all layers stacked, you’ll need to upload the design to your cutting software in order to see all the layers. If you’re viewing the SVG in a viewer window, it may appear just as a photo and the layers do not show. Hope this helps.

      1. when i try to open the SVG it says the document is empty..the SVG is what i want to open right?

      1. Thanks for getting back to me, I got the password but can see where to type it in or how to download the svg. Don’t know where I’m going wrong ?

  7. Hi! I signed up, but I can’t find the SVG file. I’ve gotten into the vault, but I only see Christmas SVG files, a regular mandala, and some mandala letters. Where can I find the pumpkin one?

    Thanks!
