Free HEART WARRIOR Cut File

Congenital Heart Defects affect 1:100 babies born in the United States.

My youngest daughter was born with a CHD and had to have open-heart surgery at just nine days old. At the time, she only weighed 5 pounds. Three surgeries and pacemakers later, she is now a strong and healthy teenager driving me crazy at her every opportunity. My business name, “Special Heart Studio,” is in her honor as she’s the reason I started with my Cricut.

  1. This brought tears to my eyes. We too have a Heart Warrior! He is my Grandnephew. They didn’t expect him to live pass 5 but he is a healthy 8 year old. I am glad your daughter is doing so well. Bless her and your entire family. I can’t wait to make him this shirt and send it to him.

  2. thank you so much!! i am a mum to a heartkid who is 9! we are part of a big community who will adore this!!!

  3. My daughter is a heart warrior as well! She had her first surgery at 9 weeks; second at 13 months and her last “big” surgery when she was 20. She’s 33 now married and they adopted a baby boy 2 years ago; pregnancy was a no go due to her health issues. She is a gift – strong and courageous. She’s never once said “why me” – even when they told her no babies….thank you so much for this svg; not sure if I’ll put it on a shirt or a cup….

  4. I love your site and I love all your designs. I don’t personally have anyone that has dealt with this but two of my friends have and so I’m going to make two little shirts and a onesie for their babies. I love your story and that you shared it with us. God bless you and your little girl and the adult children too, its crazy I have an adult daughter too and a teenager about to be an adult and two little guys, 2 years and 3 months, its crazy how time flies.
Thank you for all you do.
