Oh Baby!
Sharing this week a few new designs that are gender reveal themed. Gender reveal parties are such a trend, I thought it would be fun to have some a layered mandala to go along with shirt style designs.
Use these Layered Baby Feet in a shadow box or as a cake topper. Add your own embellishments or sayings for a baby announcement. The possibilities are endless.
The Layered Baby Feet are simple, yet cute. The design consists of 3 layers.
Materials for Layered Baby Feet Mandala
- 65lb. cardstock
- Tombow Foam Tabs
- Art Glitter Glue – This is my favorite liquid adhesive glue (there’s no glitter in it).
- Brayer
- Light grip mat (blue)
- Cricut Maker – or your favorite cutting machine
- Design #132 – Layered Baby Feet Mandala SVG – The free cut file (available in my freebie vault—get the password at the bottom of this post).
How To Cut and Assemble
Download the free Layered Baby Feet Mandala from the Freebie Vault and unzip the folder.
If you’re new to Cricut and need help with unzipping, click HERE to learn more.
Open Cricut Design Space and start a new project. Then click upload along the left side tool bar. You’ll then be taken to this screen:
Click Upload Image
Click Browse.
Navigate to the folder where you’ve unzipped the design. Highlight the SVG file and click open. Your screen may look different than the above depending on your operating system.
Now we’re on the Prepare to Upload screen. Here you can choose to add tags for easier searching later (optional). Then click Upload.
The final step of the upload process is to click the thumbnail of the design you just added. It will then have a thin green line highlighting your selection. Then click Insert Image.
Note: you may select more than one design on this screen to bring to your canvas.
The photo above shows the size I choose to cut the baby feet. The feet that I have photographed in the frame were set to size at 5.7″ high while the design was still grouped. Each foot individually is a bit over 4.5″ tall. I have them framed in a 8″x8″ shadowbox from Michaels.
For this project, the layers were fairly intricate, so I decided to glue all three layers using Art Glitter Glue. I then used foam tabs between the shadowbox and the baby feet.

What a cute baby Mandala! Thank you.
I love it, it was perfect timing for a baby shower I am going to this weekend. I cut a couple of extra identical layers, it looked too thin in the shadow box. Also, I wonder if there is a way to attach the toes? that was the tough part:) Maybe it would be too thin though? Pairing it with a Mandala Letter for a set. Super cute, thank you.
Really love all these mandalas and the easy access to the patterns .
