Free Layered Cheerleader Mandala Cut File
Cheerleader! The latest in the layered mandala designs comes from multiple requests in our Facebook group. This design has 6 layers of circles plus the cheerleader on top for extra dimension.
I don’t mind if you use these designs for personal or small business commercial use up to 200 items, but please do not re-sell or re-distribute the files. I’d ask that you direct your crafty friends here to download the files themselves. Also, I don’t allow my designs to be used in print-on-demand shops or on transfers that will be sold. MATERIAL LIST AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR LAYERED CHEERLEADER
- 65lb. Cardstock – I prefer the Recollections brand
- Foam Tabs – These are my favorite. I’ve found they provide more depth between the layers. Also note, the Amazon description shows the package includes 50 tabs. It’s really 464. There are 50 large pieces, and 414 small sizes.
- Light Grip Mat (blue)
- Cricut Maker – or cutting machine of your choice
- Design #62 Layered Cheerleader Mandala – Free cut file (available in my Freebie Vault—get the password at the bottom of this post).
This design has six layers plus the cheerleader on the top (Technically, that’s seven) lol. I recommend starting by adhering the pom-poms and bow to the cheerleader silhouette, as shown in the photo. In my project, I glued the bow in place and used foam taps on the pom-poms. I then focused my attention on all of the circles. Starting with the bottom layer and working my way up, I placed foam tabs between each of the layers. Is there a way to get the layers already separate?
hi Courtney,
The SVG formatted file is saved in layers. If you’re using a Cricut or Silhouette with Designer Edition or higher you’ll be able to see all layers in your cutting software.
